We’re Back!

Did you miss us guys??? Cause we missed you!!!

We've returned from our summer hiatus and have great tales of our vacations. Sydnie went to London and Scotland, Lewis did some awesome Dallas things, and Mattie went to San Diego Comic Con!

Unfortunately we had some technical issues and what was going to be a 2 episode recording session ended up just being one. :(

BUT Mattie has some fun stories about what went down at Comic Con and Lewis has some news about movies and shows that were announced for it as well. SO YAY!

In case you hadn't heard, 13 new episodes of Arrested Development are now available on Netflix! Does it live up to the hype?

Just kidding, listen and find out! We also talk about XBox One and the Halo TV show.

Yeah, that's what we said. And of course who doesn't love a little celebrity gossip, this time about Amanda Bynes, whose Twitter is entertaining:

Then Sydnie regales us with a few choice moments while she was in New Orleans this weekend and everyone there likes to dance:

We’re in SPAAAACE!

It's all about space and time and fantasy this week as we discuss the Doctor Who finale and this last season as a whole. Let's just say this summarizes it well:

Then we go to our spoiler-y review of the latest Star Trek sequel, Star Trek Into Darkness. Spoiler that's not really a spoiler, lots of lens flare:

After that we hit a couple old movies you might want to check out (or don't) including Jack Reacher and Hansel and Gretel, and a new movie coming out, The Internship:

We have so many questions this week. Is it appropriate to play Dungeons & Dragons on Mother's Day? Is he Australian? Does dad need Salvatore Ferragamo calfskin briefcase? Why is saying "Big Ole' Titties" so funny?

We start off talking about Mattie's old school geektastic Mother's Day playing Dungeons and Dragons.

We discuss the trailers for some of the new shows coming to TV this fall. Watch them below:

Almost Human

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Spoil Sports

This week's episode is VERY SPOILER-Y for the new Iron Man 3 movie, so if you don't want to be spoiled, don't listen till you've seen the movie.

With that said, we talk about who's in the suit:

And what we thought overall of the movie as well as some nerdy details and plot holes we don't understand and are possibly angry about.

We also talk specifics about upcoming Marvel movies and how we might not see our favorite actors again reprising their roles! (Click here for an article on the details.)

We also learn that we should never surprise Lewis about anything unless he's in on it and it involves someone else doing this:

This week we get the low down on Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing and get some insider information about what Joss does for fun.

Then we get a little more in depth about Thor and Iron Man 3 (out this weekend!):

We also talk about this hilarious interviewer who dresses up to interview the actors/directors promoting videos. Check out the one he did for Star Trek: Into Darkness:

TV Not on TV

On this week's episode, we talk about TV shows that aren't on TV.

That's right. They are all online. We chat about the greatness that is the Netflix Original show House of Cards.

And it turns out Amazon Instant Video is wanting to do an original series of their own, where you can watch the pilots for free and vote for your faves. So we watched a few, and I think you'll want to watch our favorite.

We also talk about a few "Funny or Die" videos like Gay of Thrones and a dramatic reading of a sorority letter. *Please note, we play a clip of it, and it does contain adult language. The clip starts at 37:30 and lasts for approximately 2 minutes.*

And of course we talk about Iron Man 3 coming out next week, and the trailer for Thor 2:

Superhero Love

This week's episode is all about superheros and the movies we love them in. First we talk about a few movies coming up that look good like Catching Fire:

and Elsium:

Then we find out about which two superheros Lewis is most like. *Spoiler* One might have something to do with this:

Of course we talk about the new Marvel S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show, Jamie Foxx's look as Electro in the 2nd Spiderman movie, and how the reboot of Godzilla might be good because of some well-known stars.

And apparently, some news about the new Superman movie has Lewis and Sydnie feeling less fearful of it. Let's be real, we'll all go see it anyway despite any misgivings.

Jurassic Pizza

This week we reminisce about the greatness that was seeing Jurassic Park for the first time (which is back in theaters in 3D if you’re interested!) and how it had these things (ahh the memories):

Lewis talks about some of the people he has to deal with at work, which just makes him like this:

Then Sydnie and Lewis discuss the interesting people they hung out over the weekend which turned into us wondering if personal pan pizzas are meant to be shared:

And really the moral of the episode is you should listen to Lewis cause he’s usually right.

Doctor Pontoon

This week we talk about a few movies and TV shows that are coming soon like This Is the End (warning it is the red band trailer), Finding Dory, and The Chappelle Show.

And of course we talk about:

We also spend some time talking old school Disney films, and Lewis's latest reality show idea. It involves this:
